1、Check antifreeze
Check the antifreeze at regular intervals, and renew the antifreeze with a freezing point of 10°C below the local minimum temperature in winter. Once a leakage is found, repair the radiator water tank and water pipe in time. If the antifreeze is lower than the minimum value marked, it should be filled with antifreeze of the same brand, model, color or original one.
2、Change the oil and oil filter
Choose the corresponding label of oil according to the season or temperature. Engine oil at normal temperature will increase in viscosity and friction in cold winter, which will affect the rotation of the engine and increase fuel consumption. Therefore, it is necessary to change the oil used in winter. Similarly, the oil used in winter can not be used under normal temperature, because the oil viscosity is not enough, and it may lead to equipment failure.
3、Change fuel
Now, there are different grades of diesel on the market, and the applicable temperature is different. In winter, it should be used diesel oil with a temperature of 3°C to 5°C lower than the local temperature. Generally, the minimum temperature of diesel in winter ranges from - 29°C to 8°C. In high latitude areas, lower temperature diesel should be selected.
4、Warm up in advance
Just like a car engine, when the outside air is cold, the diesel generator set needs to run at low speed for 3 to 5 minutes. After the temperature of the whole machine is increased, the sensor can work normally, and the data can be used regularly. Otherwise, the cold air enters the cylinder, it is difficult for the compressed gas to reach the diesel auto-ignition temperature. At the same time, the sudden high-load operation should be reduced during operation, otherwise it will affect the service life of the valve assembly.
